R2RES is committed to maintaining an outstanding Quality, Safety and Environment System. 

 

These three key policies are in place to protect our staff and clients’ best interests. All staff have completed WHS Queensland Construction Induction, Senior First Aid and Agricultural Chemical Distribution Certificate. All staff have sign on to R2RES Safe Work Method Statements and perform daily Job Safety Analysis.

By improving natural environments and restoring damaged or neglected landscapes, R2RES recognises that landowners benefit from improved water management and protection of wildlife. R2RES supply our clients with the highest level of service and promote a safe workplace.

 

Taking action

R2RES has a responsibility to care for and protect the environment in which we operate. We are fully committed to improving environmental performance across all of our business activities and will encourage our business partners and members of the wider community to join us in this effort.

 

R2RES recognises our key impacts to be in the areas of:

  • energy use; raw material use; waste generation; emissions to air / water; water use; transport & procurement.

 

R2RES strive to:

  • Adopt the highest environmental standards in all areas of operation; meeting and exceeding all relevant legislative requirements,
  • Assess our organisational activities and identify areas where we can minimise impacts,
  • Minimise waste through careful and efficient use of all materials and energy,
  • Purchase sustainable products wherever feasible (e.g. recycled, FSC or low environmental impact products and energy from renewable sources),
  • Publicise our environmental position,
  • Train employees in good environmental practice,
  • Adopt an environmentally sound transport strategy,
  • Aim to include environmental and ethical considerations in investment decisions where appropriate,
  • Assist in developing solutions to environmental problems,
  • Continually assess the environmental impact of all our operation
  • Complies with ISO 14001:2015

 

R2RES will periodically review performance and present results to staff at monthly Toolbox meetings.

 

 

Health and Safety Policy

Ranges to Reef Environmental Service Pty Ltd recognises that Work Health and Safety management is an integral part of its management function.

 

This policy calls for continual improvement of the Work Health & Safety management performance and activities and is committed to:

 

  • Work Health Safety and Welfare, as far as is practicable of our staff and others who work under our control.
  • Complying with all applicable acts, laws and regulations.
  • The identification and minimisation of risks of injury and hazards to health for all who are affected by our business activities.
  • Provide and maintain plant, equipment and systems of work that are safe, without risks to health, minimise environmental impact and sustain continuity of operation.
  • Taking due care to ensure that activities are safe for employees, associates and subcontractors and others who come into contact with our work and that appropriate safety training and supervision is provided to all employees, so they may carry out their work safely.
  • Train our staff in understanding their responsibilities in Health, and Safety.
  • Ensuring the safe and secure handling, storage and transport of equipment, product and substances is safe and without risk.
  • Ensuring safe access and egress are maintained to all sites within our responsibility and that high standards of housekeeping are maintained.
  • Ensuring the workplace environment is safe and healthy with adequate welfare facilities provided for our employees.
  • Work closely with our customers and suppliers to establish the highest Work Health & Safety standards.
  • Consult with staff on the company’s Work, Health and Safety and provide them with the appropriate authority and responsibility to implement the Work Health and Safety requirements throughout its operations.

The Policy also calls for each employee to recognise their own responsibilities to care for the Work, Health & Safety of themselves and of others.

 

This policy statement is supported by documents and procedures detailing the organisation’s organisation of responsibility and the arrangements for implementing the strategy for health and safety management. The system complies with ISO45001:2018.

 

 From this system, improvement objectives are generated. This information is made known to all employees and made available to all employees on demand through their line managers.

 

 

Quality Policy

Ranges to Reef Environmental Service Pty Ltd has established this quality policy to be consistent with the purpose and context of our organisation. It provides a framework for the setting and review of objectives in addition to our commitment to satisfy applicable customers’, regulatory and legislative requirements as well as our commitment to continually improve our management system.

 

Customer focus: As an organisation, we have made a commitment to understand our current and future customers’ needs; meet their requirements and strive to exceed their expectations.

 

Leadership: Our Director has committed to creating and maintaining a working environment in which people become fully involved in achieving our objectives.

 

Engagement of people: As an organisation we recognise that people are the essence of any good business and that their full involvement enables their abilities to be used for our benefit.

 

Process approach: As an organisation we understand that a desired result is achieved more efficiently when activities and related resources are managed as a process or series of interconnected processes.

 

Improvement: We have committed to achieving continual improvement across all aspects of our integrated management system; it is one of our main annual objectives.

 

Evidence-based decision making: As an organisation we have committed to only make decisions relating to our QSE following an analysis of relevant data and information.

 

Relationship management: We recognise that an organisation and the relationship it has with its external providers are interdependent and a mutually beneficial relationship enhances the ability of both to create value.

 

Our policy is also to meet the requirements of other interested parties and in meeting our social, environmental, charitable, regulatory, and legislative responsibilities. The system complies with ISO 9001:2015.

 

We have produced objectives which relate to this policy and they can be found in document 02 Objectives & Targets.

 

This policy is communicated to all interested parties as well as being made available to the wider community.
